Dreams

I got to see this video about Israeli Folk Dancing with Gadi Bitton in Israel. If you've never heard this name I can briefly tell you that there very much is a "before and after" him in our folk dance world.
If you are curious to see a tiny drop of what he does click below..It's in Hebrew language but you may still get a feel of his magnitude:

This film made me ponder how far can desire take a human being. They say that if you wish something really hard you can make it real. Well..If you do some homework about this choreographer and how he started, he certainly was and is determined about his dreams.

The first step in achieving a fantasy is to be aware of what you want; at the same time, that idea has to come with positive thoughts.
When you invest time in visualizing something you wish for you are focusing your energy towards it yet the main point is to channel that energy into actions.
You need to come up with a plan, a map that guides your process and put yourself to roll.
Looking for opportunities; talking to people; making phone calls; going to places; making yourself visible to others are all ways to get closer to your goal.
The secret is to convert our thoughts in movement ( and this sounds a lot like when we learn a new dance step :)

All this ideas are not something we can achieve from night to day but I believe that if we are patient (at times we need a lot of it) and really want something from our hearts we have to make it clear in our minds, bring it to the surface, talk about it, make a plan and act upon it.
Even when it feels like it's impossible or untouchable we have to give it a try. One step at the time.
Are you reading Karina? :)
Yesterday's dreams are as trembling flames
All the darkness is not able to put them out
Don't turn your face away, you are full of hidden things
Don't shut away the blinds, look, between the words
Yesterday's dreams are as trembling flames
All the darkness is not able to put them out..
(From the dance by Gadi Bitton "Chalomot"- Dreams )
